About this speaker
Alex Olshonsky is the co-founder of Natura Care, a nonprofit addiction program harnessing psychedelics. He is also the creator of Deep Fix, a popular Substack newsletter, and his essays on culture, what he calls ‘modern addiction,’ and consciousness have appeared in a wide range of publications. As a coach and Certified Hakomi Practitioner, he works with individuals to live with greater freedom and depth, and he leads Sons of Now, a men’s group for growth and leadership in the metamodern era.
Alex’s path into this work is deeply personal: a dozen years ago, while working as an executive and entrepreneur, he faced a polysubstance addiction that nearly killed him. That crisis became a turning point, and psychedelics—particularly ayahuasca—were instrumental in his recovery. Since then, he has devoted his life to the healing arts, the dharma, and reframing recovery as a path of awakening. Through his courses, retreats, writing, and nonprofit work, he has helped thousands find relief from addiction. Above all, he is passionate about sharing that recovery, when engaged fully, can be a pathway to deep okayness and enduring spiritual freedom.
