Mikaela de la Myco is a mother, educator, folk herbalist, community organizer, facilitator and researcher with over a decade of experience in sacred earth medicine, full-spectrum womb care, and trauma-informed advocacy.
She is the founder of mushWOMB and Mama de la Myco, platforms that center BIPOC, queer communities, and families in psychedelic and herbal education.
Mikaela facilitates retreats and programs such as ECO Sensual and the Herbal & Trauma-Informed Advocacy Certification, and serves as caretaker for MA’AT (Matriarchal Alliance for Accountability and Transparency), supporting survivors of harm in wellness spaces.
She founded Mothers of the Mushroom, a groundbreaking citizen science initiative highlighting psilocybin use in mothers and birthing people and her work has been featured in Microdosing for Health, Healing and Enhanced Performance (Fadiman & Gruber) and The Psilocybin Handbook for Women (Chesak), among other major publications, podcasts, and media.
Mikaela is a trusted collaborator to organizations, families, and practitioners across the psychedelic field. In all things, she is committed to being an instrument of change in the struggle to rematriate entheogens.
